Business and Corporate Law
Are you a paralegal who’s looking for more responsibility? Our Business and Corporate Law course presents important topics including international law, dispute resolution, contract law and theory, agency law and agency relationships, fair employment practices laws, and intellectual property law. This advanced paralegal course provides an introduction to law, business ethics, the U.S. legal system and court jurisdiction. The e-textbook covers the constitutional regulation of business, torts and crimes that affect businesses. Throughout the text you will follow a hypothetical business, called eClass, which helps to illustrate how the concepts in each chapter could apply in today’s business environment.
Blackstone advanced paralegal courses are each worth 20 hours towards the 50 hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) needed for recertification if you are a Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).
