How do course materials release online?

As a true distance education school, we are unable to provide job placement. We do feel confident that our online programs provide the education needed to qualify for entry-level employment. Our Career Center offers students and graduates resources to search for successful employment.

Is your school accredited?

Yes. Blackstone Career Institute is nationally accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), and regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Secondary Schools. Do you offer financial assistance?

Blackstone offers 3 affordable, interest-free payment plan options but is not a Title 1V school that accepts FAFSA or Pell Grants. What are BCI’s Admission Requirements?

Enrolling at Blackstone is easy, with our open enrollment you can enroll anytime. To qualify, a high school diploma or an equivalent along with access to a Microsoft Windows compatible PC or MAC with Internet access is needed. All applicants must complete our Enrollment Agreement along with the required down payment for processing. Applications will be processed only if they are accompanied with the required payment. How do I enroll?

Students can enroll anytime from our website by clicking here or calling our student service center Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM EST at 800.826.9228. Blackstone has open-enrollment, so students can enroll in our online programs anytime, 24/7/365.

Are there physical textbooks included in the program?

As an online school, our courses use e-books for convenience of studying on the go and to allow us to keep tuition costs down. We do provide the ISBN information for each e-book under the materials tab. Students who wish to purchase a physical copy of the e-book can simply use the ISBN number provided on our website to purchase the book through a third party like amazon or chegg.com.

How do course materials release online?

Students who pay in full for their program will have access to all of their materials once enrolled. Students who enroll under a monthly payment plan will have access to a new unit every month upon making their monthly payment.

What is the average completion time for students in the Pharmacy Technician program?

One of the major advantages in taking Blackstone’s Pharmacy Technician program is that students can work at their own pace. Many students complete the program in 8 -12 months. Students have up to 18 months from their enrollment date to complete and graduate from their program.

Will credits transfer to a college or university after I graduate?

Blackstone’s online programs are designed to prepare students for entry-level careers. While some schools may accept credits from Blackstone, it is at the discretion of the receiving school. Simply check with the school’s admissions office.

Do you provide job placement?

As a true distance education school, we are unable to provide job placement. We do feel confident that our online programs provide the education needed to qualify for entry-level employment. Our Career Center offers students and graduates resources to search for successful employment.

Where can I expect to find a job as a Pharmacy Technician?

Pharmacy technicians fill an assortment of positions in almost every locale in a variety of pharmacy settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, drugstore chains, grocery stores, pharmaceutical sales, manufacturing companies and physicians’ offices. Often, pharmacy technicians choose positions based on unique interests and skills, previous work experience, or future goals.
