Raul holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Leisure Services and an Associate Degree in Education.  He has over 25 years’ experience working in long term care facilities to enhance resident engagement, provide opportunities for success based on current abilities, and to build positive relationships among residents, families, and caregivers. Raul has worked with various medical conditions including; Dementia, Cancer, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. He is currently the Activity Coordinator and Dementia Care Instructor on the Memory Care Unit at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Virginia Beach, VA. Outside of work, Raul is Acting Director of Operations and on the Board of Directors for  Life Rolls On, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with various disabilities.

Cancellations within the first 5 days of enrollment receive a full refund. Enrolling at Blackstone is easy, with our open enrollment you can enroll anytime. To qualify, a high school diploma or an equivalent along with access to a Microsoft Windows compatible PC or MAC with Internet access is needed. All applicants must complete our Enrollment Agreement along with the required down payment for processing. Applications will be processed only if they are accompanied with the required payment. Blackstone offers affordable, interest-free payment plan options but is not a Title 1V school that accepts FAFSA or Pell Grants. Students may also apply for tuition reimbursement from their employer or check with their State and Local Assistance. Learn more here
