Our Legal Assistant/Paralegal Diploma Program & Training includes the 900 clock hours of coursework needed to sit for both NALA & NALS Certification.

Blackstone’s online Medical Billing and Coding Program & Career Training offer you comprehensive training including working knowledge in ICD10‐CM, Medisoft V19, HCPCS II, and provide you with exclusive access to the Optum360 Encoder Pro Expert online coding resource. Gain the practical knowledge needed to process medical claims using the correct diagnostic and treatment codes.

Graduates of this program are qualified to sit for the Certified Coding Associate (CCA) exam, Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) exam, and the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam.

  1. Pharmacy Technician

Our Pharmacy Technician program offers the skills and hands-on training needed to assist pharmacists in processing and filling prescriptions, and it includes a working knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology, pharmacy calculations, pharmacology, body systems and disorders, ethics, and professionalism.

Through established partnerships with Walgreens and CVS Pharmacy, our required externship allows students to apply the knowledge and skills gained through the program in a real-world setting. In addition, Blackstone’s Pharmacy Technician graduates qualify to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam and the exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT).

Blackstone’s Veterinary Assistant Training Program offers education covering the behavior, care, and treatment of animals.

Students gain a working knowledge of the veterinary assistant field, including veterinary assistant salary information, veterinary anatomy, medical terminology, veterinary office administrative office skills, animal care and handling, office technology, time and stress management, critical thinking skills, and working effectively on a team.

  1. Dental Office Assistant

Blackstone’s Dental Office Assistant program provides the latest information on operating a dental office and preparing students for the various tasks an administrative dental assistant may encounter. For example, students will learn up-to-date CDT-5 Dental Codes, new HIPAA and OSHA guidelines, along with practice administrative procedures such as entering patient data, posting payments and scheduling appointments.

Graduates of this program are eligible to sit for certification through the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), along with two years of full-time or four years part-time as a dental assistant, and a CPR certification.
