Student Life

One of the major advantages in taking a Blackstone program is that you can work at your own pace. Many students complete in less time than allotted. Students work at a pace that is ideal for them within the payment plan they have chosen.
As a distance education provider, we are unable to offer job placement. We do feel confident that our programs provide the necessary education needed in seeking new employment. Our Career Center will assist students and graduates in their preparation and search for employment.
Students can access and begin their course the same day as enrollment. Once enrolled, an email is sent with how to access to our Online Student Center and instructions to start. E-codes are sent the next business day.
All student material is located within the Online Student Center. If you did not receive an email with your login credentials within 24 hours of enrollment, please contact the school at 800-826-9228 or email us at info@blackstone.edu. Please note not all courses use an e-book and e-books are sent the following business day.
As an online school, our courses are designed to use e-books for convenience of studying on the go. We do not have textbook inventory to substitute the e-books. The Legal Assistant/Paralegal Modern American Law series can be purchased in our bookstore here.
Students are allowed one re-test of a failed exam. The highest grade a student can score on a re-test is 70 percent. If the student should fail the re-test, the highest score of the two failed exams will be reflected on the student transcript.
Please contact the school with any changes by calling 1-800-826-9228. You can also e-mail your change(s) to info@blackstone.edu.
You may contact our Education Department by sending an e-mail to instructor@blackstone.edu
Upon graduation, you will receive a diploma or certificate of completion and an official transcript of grades. Additional transcripts and diplomas/certificates are available for a nominal fee. At your request, transcripts can be sent to other schools.
Blackstone Career Institute will grant a study extension to students who are unable to complete their studies in the required time frame. We offer a 6 month extension for a nominal fee. Any additional time will be evaluated for approval by our Education Department.
Graduation documents are mailed to the student once they have completed all academic and financial obligations in their course. The documents are mailed to the current address on file. If you have a new address or preferred them mailed to a different address, please notify our office by phone at 800-826-9228 or email us info@blackstone.edu.
