Blackstone’s accredited, online Medical Billing and Coding Program offers foundational topics to prepare you for an entry-level position as a medical billing and coding specialist. This career focused program presents the skills and knowledge along with practical lessons and hands-on experience needed in today’s health information industry. Through our partnership with the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), Blackstone’s Online Medical Billing and Coding program includes a voucher for the Certified Professional Coder (CPC®) exam, AAPC Practicode course, and a membership to the AAPC.
Through established partnerships with Walgreens and CVS Pharmacy, our required externship allows students to apply the knowledge and skills learned through our pharmacy technician training program in a real-world environment. The combination of BCI’s training with the 160-hour externship prepares graduates to pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination (PTCE), administered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB®), and earn national recognition as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

Students who graduate from Blackstone’s online Dental Office Assistant Training Program are eligible to sit for the Dental Assisting National Board(DANB) certification exam after working full‐time for two years or part‐time for four years as a dental office assistant and obtaining certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
