Where can I expect to find a job as a Physical Therapy Aide?

Choosing a physical therapy aide career allows you to work in a variety of settings, including home healthcare services, nursing care facilities, general and medical surgical hospitals, and offices of physicians and other health practitioners, including other orthopedic practices. The physical rehabilitation team services a large population including the elderly, those who have suffered from heart attacks and strokes, trauma victims, and infants with birth defects.

Physical therapy departments and offices run more effectively with an organized physical therapy aide. The increasing number of patients in need of physical therapy explains why physical therapy aide jobs are on the rise. Rapid growth in the number of orthopedic practices, clinics, and other healthcare facilities will result in an increasing need for support staff, including physical therapy aides.
